A Dude, Snake Eyes, and a Crocodile

We went trunk-or-treating on Tuesday night. The kids had a blast, and got lots of candy! There was also a cake walk where Michael got a cupcake.

Zoo day

Trying to get a peek at the giraffe's.
Michael hanging out at the splash pad.
Matthew just watching the kids run back and forth from the water pump.
He tried to catch the peacock's tail, but didn't succeed. :)
Just hanging out for Dad to get a picture.

Apple Annie's in Wilcox

The sunflowers are always so beautiful.
Trying to figure out the next clue in the corn maze.
Matthew trying to head back in after we were done.
Just sitting in some corn.
The kids loved playing in the corn while there was a rain storm going on all around us.
Michael found our family pumpkin.
We ended up getting him the white pumpkin -- or as Michael likes to call it "the ghost pumpkin".
This is our favorite spot to take a nice family picture, except I was the one taking the picture.

A week in Utah

Matthew, Michael and I left on a plane headed for Vegas/Utah almost two weeks ago. We had a layover in Vegas where Michael met up with his Grandma Chism to stay with her while Matthew and I boarded the next plane for Utah. We had a good time spending a week with Grandpa and Grandma Edstrom, and the weather was perfect. We took a trip to Logan, did some shopping, and of course had to stop at Gossner's Cheese Factory for their delicious cheese curds. We went to see some friends of ours horses, they have two brand new colts. Matthew just loved them! My Dad tried to catch one of them so Matthew could pet it, but they wouldn't have it. We spent a lot of time outside in my parent's back yard, and went on walks at night. I got to hang out with one of my good friends, Lisa and her girls. We went to the Dinosaur Park in Ogden. It was so much fun to see her, I really miss having her live closer. I was able to go to the Ogden Temple with my Dad. It was a neat experience to go with him, and I know that is something I will remember for years to come. My brothers and their families came to see us after church on Sunday, and we all had a nice lunch at my parent's house. I wish my younger brother and his family could have been there, but they live in Boise. My parent's neighbor and friend has a little dog, and we went over there to play catch with him. Matthew loved watching him chase after the ball, and he would even try throwing the ball to the dog. I'm glad my husband was able to part with us for a week. I think he did just fine, he cooked better meals for himself then I think I've ever cooked. Here are a few pictures of our trip.
