| Shane and I ran in the 5k Thanksgiving Cross-Country race at Reid Park. It was my first 5k where I ran the whole way without stopping. I was pretty proud of myself, and I was so worried about being last. I didn't need to worry though, because I was a long ways from being last. :) |

| It was my birthday that day too! Shane was my cheerleader along the way, he was so excited I was finally running a race with him. I thought I was so close to being done, and Shane yells out "You're half way there." I thought, "WHAT THE HECK?!?" I was tired by the end, but happy I completed it all the way to the finish! |

| The kids were happy to be outside, and there was a playground. Matthew is my little dare devil, he did make it down safely! |

| It was hard to get too many good pictures of Shane running, because I was also busy chasing Matthew around. I did manage to get a couple of good shots. |

| We took the boys to the Tucson Botanical Gardens to see the Butterfly exhibit a couple of weeks ago. I love butterflies, so it was fun for me to experience these beautiful insects up close. |

| Michael was happy he got to have one on his finger. They tell you before you go in that you're not supposed to touch any of the butterflies, but for some reason this particular worker didn't stick with the rules. ;) |

| Matthew got a magnifying glass to keep him busy, so as to take his attention off of swatting the butterflies with his hands. |

| We couldn't fit both kids behind the butterfly, so the littlest got to stand off to the side. :) |

| It was neat to walk around the gardens and see all the different plants. |

| I think most kids just gravitate to anything with water, so Michael had a blast playing in the fountain! |
