We loved visiting G & G Edstrom!

We went to Utah for a week over Spring break. It was fun to see my family, we threw my Dad a surprise birthday party. He turns 70 next month. All of my brother's and their families were there except for my younger brother who had to work.

Mmmmm.....Grandma's raspberry jam is yummy.

Matthew loved helping his Grandpa out in the yard, he might have been a little too much help!!

My Dad made about 5 or 6 of these wooden guns for my sister-in-law's Webelos in cub scouts.  Matthew had fun with some of his cousins, he and Max were chasing each other.

My parent's live close to this park, and Matthew loved playing and climbing on all the big slides.

I had to push him down several times, but he soon got over his fear and went down on his own.

His cousin Sam had fun pushing him around in the wheelbarrow.

Rocks and Ropes

When Grandma Chism came to visit we took the boys to this climbing gym.

Michael did really good, and caught on pretty quick.

Matthew on the other hand wasn't too sure, he loved the helmet though.  He kept it on the whole time.

There was this cool treadmill that moved as you climbed, and it could be adjusted as to how fast you can climb.

Hanging out with Dad, maybe he'll enjoy it more when he's older.
