Christmas 2012

Our little Matthew was the first to get up Christmas morning.  He found his *BIG* Lotso and Jessie toy from Santa, and brought those in our bedroom.
Michael was pretty excited about what Santa brought him.
He couldn't wait to distribute all the presents.
His talking Elmo toy was a hit. :)
Michael got right down to business opening all his gifts.
It was fun to watch the boys open all their gifts!  I got some great ones too, I can't wait to use my gift card for a massage.
Shane spent most of the day just opening all the boys boxes of toys and putting them together.
This is what Michael got for Christmas.
This is what Matthew got for Christmas.

Old Tucson

We went to Old Tucson Studios last weekend, and had a lot of fun.  While there we got to experience what the Old West was really like.  Michael is getting ready to drive one of these antique cars, he thought this ride was awesome!
This is Matthew and I following right along with Michael.
This is some of the town.
We went to several musicals, and Michael got to have his own shoot-out before the gun show started.
Waiting for the show to start in the saloon.
We went on a train ride around the town.
Of course we went a second time on the cars.
We took Matthew a couple of times on the carousel.
We got Matthew all set up for a pony ride, I thought pony meant *little*.  Oh well, he did really well I thought!

If you haven't already been you should take your family to Old Tucson.  It was a fun place to visit.

What we did Thanksgiving morning...

We gathered up the boys, and headed over to Reed Park to run in a 5k Thanksgiving Cross-Country race.

It was such a nice day, and a fun thing to do before eating a bunch of turkey!

My sweet boy hugging a turtle.  The boys were entertained with the playground.  We didn't get many pictures of Michael, he was busy playing tag with other kids.

We did this race last year, and I forgot to wear my old shoes this time.  I tried my hardest to jump over the muddy water, but I didn't quite make it.

Shane coming through the finish line.

It's never to late to say "Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!" :)

Zion, Utah

We stayed in a cabin for two nights at the Zion Ponderosa Resort.
We had our own hot tub, so the kids and I relaxed in it while Shane was running in his Ragnar trail race.
This is the beautiful view from the deck of our cabin.
Shane camped out one night with his Ragnar team in -35 below weather, while the boys and I were warm and cozy in our cabin.
The boys and I decided to explore the resort, Michael was all geared up for the zip line.
He did pretty good, I don't think I would have been brave enough to do it.
Matthew and I went on a pony ride.
The guide was going to take Matthew with him at first, but Matthew wasn't too keen on that.  So they were kind enough to let me go with him.  The horse he rode was named "Pepsi".
The resort had a pretty cool pool and water slides.  It was too bad the pool was freezing, but that didn't stop Michael from enjoying it.
Michael would slide down into the freezing pool, hurry to get out, and climb into the hot tub.
The resort had mini golf, which we all played together after Shane was finished with his race.
Matthew was so cute once he got the hang of it.
Michael was our water ball retriever.
We went into the park on our last day in Zion.
Of course Michael forgot his jacket at the restaurant we ate at, so putting his arms inside his shirt was the only way to keep warm.
There were some pretty amazing views.  Matthew got pretty dirty here, but at least he had fun. :)
Our last stop was to get a picture of us and the arch in the background!

It was so nice to be up in the mountains.  We had a fun few days for sure!!

Fall Break in Utah

Matthew and I went to Utah for about 1 1/2 weeks to visit my family.  While there we drove to Boise to visit my younger brother, Trent and his family for a couple days.  Matthew loved riding this bike around on their sidewalk.  He still can't get the hang of peddling, hopefully one day he will!
Snack time!  We had fun visiting them, and Matthew enjoyed playing all day with some of his cousins.
My parent's and I stayed in a hotel while we were there, so we all went back to the hotel to go swimming.
I'm holding my newest little nephew, Gavin.
When we came back to Utah we took the train to the City Creek Center in Salt Lake.
It's the most amazing mall I've seen, and there were neat water fountains to look at.
Matthew playing in the splash pad.
My sister-in-law, Mindi invited us to their ward Halloween Carnival in Kaysville.  Matthew wasn't really into any of the other games, but for some reason he loved this one! :)
Matthew hanging out with his Kaysville cousins, and Grandma.
We had a get-together at my parent's club house.  The cousins went swimming, and everyone loved playing with Matthew since they don't see him very often.  He's holding hands with his cousin Brianna.
His cousin Sam is always so good to play with him, and Matthew loves the attention.
Here are some of my family, I think we lost most of them in the movie theater right behind the table.

We always enjoy visiting and making fun memories.
