Oro Valley Aquatic Center

Shane helped design this aquatic center, so we headed to Oro Valley for the Grand Opening on a Friday night.

I tried to get more picture of Michael, but once it was OK to swim he was hard to find.

After Matthew warmed up to the idea of the splash pad, he loved it.

This is Michael getting out of the water slide, he said the water was cold.  When it was around 8:30 they had a movie going, and people could just float in the water with inner tubes while watching.  We didn't stay for that, it was too late for us.

There was a big lap pool, and a smaller pool.  Shane was trying to teach Matthew what he learned in swim lessons way back when.

He was too quick for the camera person (me), but he did have fun playing in the fountains.

Blizzard in Tucson

We had a blizzard come through Tucson this February.  We don't know who made these little snowmen on the mailboxes, probably the neighbor kids.  Shane wanted me to take a picture so he could add a title to it.

It was so exciting for the kids to see so much snow.  After Matthew got up from his nap we went outside to enjoy it while it lasted.

We borrowed Michael's new sled he got for Christmas, and Matthew had fun while I pulled him around on it.  I couldn't believe there was enough snow to even do that.

Michael was at school when the real blizzard came, and this picture is from the next morning.  There wasn't quite as much snow left.

     This post is long overdo, but it's never too late. We found out back in February that we are having a GIRL! I was very surprised, because we have mostly boys in my family and I thought for sure I would be having another boy. We couldn't be more excited, and now I get to shop for cute little girl things.  Of course the Grandma's have already done some shopping. :) Shane told me he knew all along it was going to be a girl, because he's had dreams about having a little girl some day.
