Marne and I are expecting. Michael and I were able to go to Marne's 12-week checkup and got to hear the baby's heartbeat. We didn't tell Michael that Marne was pregnant, but once we heard the heartbeat, he asked "Marne's going to have a baby?"
It's been such a long time since Michael was in utero, I have forgotten what a miracle life is. That little bean has a heartbeat! Very cool.
We are pulling for a little girl. Megan Jo Chism.
Michael is pulling for a little brother, because then we don't have to buy any new clothes for him, and he can sleep on the spare toddler mattress under his bed. Also, he wants to name the baby "Mike" because that's his nickname.
